Malcolm X was a very important person. A lot of people looked up to Malcolm X because he believed in change. Malcolm helped make a difference in the world, and is one of the reasons the USA. Him and other such as Martin Luther king jr. , Rosa Parks, etc, fought for all races to be treated equally no matter the color of their skin. Malcolm once said after a long trip that he met "Blonde hair blued eyed men that he could finally call his brothers."
This picture shows that Malcolm X was a positive speaker, and that he did a lot of speeches. Also shows he was a voice that the Africans Americans looked up too. The title "OUR FREEDOM CAN'T WAIT" means that African Americans and other races can't forever to be free, they need to do something now.
This picture of Malcolm X holding his gun shows a lot. To me this shows that he was becoming very power with his words, and some people of the NOI didn't like that and wanted to kill him. He knew that people were after him so would always keep his gun, because people tried to kill him multiple times but failed.
Malcolm X's life story influenced Spike Lee to make a movie, Starring Denzel Washington. Denzel played Malcolm X in the movie. The movie won an award and Denzel Washington won a grammy award for the star role of Malcolm X. The movie helped people understand what he did for America, and that his name will live on forever.
